UNCTAD Online Course to Help Entrepreneurs Realize Business Dreams
The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) will be sponsoring a second online course and competition, “Entrepreneurs Without Border,” prepared by UNCTAD and Politecnico Milan. Registration is currently open, and will close at the end of June. The online course and competition is a great opportunity for participants ages 19 to 34, who have a business idea or a startup that contributes to the achievement of at least one United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, to compete with their business idea.
A jury of experts will select the five challenge winners, who will have their video pitch published in the next editions of EWB101. Also, two challenge winners who are citizens of a developing or transition economy will be selected to participate in the Youth Entrepreneurship Pitching Event 2017, and awarded by the Associazione Gianluca Spina, with a mobility grant that covers travel and accommodation expenses. The pitching event will take place in November 2017 in Geneva, Switzerland, during the Global Entrepreneurship Week.
